High-School-Integrated to Vocational Training Courses divided by Technological Axes
Santo Antônio de Pádua campus is born with a new teaching model that aims to enable the student to develop their ability to generate knowledge from an interactive practice with reality! This is Polytechnic teaching, in which the student starts to deal with knowledge in an integrated way.
This pedagogical proposal, based on Polytechnic teaching, offers a more meaningful learning, as it breaks with the fragmentation of knowledge. Therefore, a "moving teaching"! This integration will occur through problematization of the reality of Santo Antônio de Pádua and its surrounding areas.
It is important to emphasize that, in this teaching proposal, there will be no timetable for subjects, but for areas. Portuguese Language, Arts, Physical Education and Foreign Language will be part of the scope of Languages, Codes and their Technologies. Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology will be part of the scope of Sciences of Nature and its Technologies and History, Geography, Sociology and Philosophy will be part of the scope of Human Sciences and its Technologies. Vocational education will be integrated into these areas.
The student will enroll in the first year of high school in a basic nucleus, in which they will have a humanistic foundation, enabling them to have experiences in the three technological axes offered by the campus: Control and Industrial Processes; Management and Business and Infrastructure. The student, upon passing the first year of the course, will opt for a technology axis. Thus, in the second year, there will be a scientific and technological deepening regarding the chosen axis.
Upon completion of the 2nd year of the course, at the time of their enrollment for the 3rd year, the student will choose one of the qualifications offered by the campus, according to the axis chosen in the 2nd year of the course.
Therefore, in the 3rd year, the scientific and technological deepening is in relation to the chosen technical course.
